Melissa Duclos’s debut novel Besotted was released in 2019 from 7.13 Books. Her work has been published in The Washington Post, Salon, The Offing, and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency among other venues. She is the founder of Magnify, a monthly newsletter celebrating small press books, and the co-founder of Amplify, a program that provides career support for women and non-binary writers. She received her MFA in creative writing from Columbia University, where she was awarded the Guston Fellowship.
She lives with her two children in Portland, Oregon, and is at work on her second novel.
